Dark, terrifying, disturbing, and yet handy.

A Who’s Who of the Manson Family
Who’s on first? Who’s on third? Who’s on acid?

Adam Gorightly, “crackpot historian” and author of the groundbreaking The Shadow Over Santa Susana: Black Magic, Mind Control & the Manson Family Mythos, and Shamus McFarland take on the daunting task of clarifying the multitude of seemingly endless nicknames, aliases and real names which spill out of the growing collection of various books chronicling The Charles Manson Family members and their bizarre activities, including murder. This mess of identities can leave the most astute reader baffled and confused as to who did what, when, where and why.

The terrifying saga is complicated enough without every character having six different names and no easy-to-use guide to clarify who is really who.

Who’s on first? Who’s on third? Who’s on acid?

A Who’s Who of The Manson Family cuts through the drug-sex-and-psycho maze to compile the definitive facebook of Manson Family characters as extensive as the available information allows.

Exclusively for Kindle by Feejee Press.

I am very interested in buying a copy of this book, but I do not have a kindle or any other ebook reader. Please let me know if and when this book is published in either a hardcover or paperback format. I would also like to know if there are photos in this book that puts faces to the names. Thanks.

      Anthony,

I’ll put you on the list for when we pull the trigger on a paperback version of the Who’s Who.

And yep, there are photos for most of the entries though not all.

If you’d like to take a gander at the book, you could always download the free Kindle Apps for PC, Mac, iPhone, Blackberry, Droid, etc here: http://amzn.to/cpOASU .

Then grab a free Sample of A Who’s Who of the Manson Family to view in the Kindle software. It’ll give you access to the first 10% of the book and you get a feeling for the content, etc.

      Thanks!

I don’t quite understand why this is still an interesting topic….other than maybe it serves as a diversion to the far scarier current bogeymen….

  3. Matt says:

Hi feejee! I *totally* want to buy the new book by Adam (and Shamus)! I have the original Manson tome by Adam along with all his other books.

Only I don’t do Kindle. Or any other wealth consolidating e-book reader. I know, I know…I’m no fun. :) (But my local bookstore? They love me. And between Powells and Counter Media, I’ve bought all Adam’s books in town.)

Any chance of getting an old school paperback?

    Thanks!

    • Feejee says:

      Hey Matt!

We’re currently considering our options on the production of a wealth consolidating old school paperback edition of A Who’s Who of the Manson Family.

I’ll be sure we put you on the Top-of-the-List for notification once we’ve made a decision on the paperback… That is, if you’d be willing to tell all your fun friends about the availability of the current Kindle edition. Fair enough?

      Thanks for the feedback!

      • Matt says:

Hey, thanks for the response! I’ll let ‘em know its available. But, to be fair, I don’t know anyone who can in good conscience support the Kindle. Or Amazon, the online Walmart. Just like I don’t know anyone who would buy into Bugliosi’s fakakta JFK book, Ben Quayle, or Pol Pot. (It’s a progression, I know…)

Hey, we don’t call it Little Beirut for nothing. :)

But I’ll see what I can do. And if you need help promoting in Pdx once the paperback comes out, I’m yer man…
